11.11.2016 09:17 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Air pollution in Indias capital Delhi is a wakeup call for the world, UN Radio says referring to the UNICEF (UN International Childrens Emergency Fund) report.
As to the report, children in Delhi find it difficult to breathe because of toxic levels of air pollution.
Reportedly, earlier this week, about over 4 million children missed three days of school following a decision to close the citys 5,798 schools to minimize the risk of exposure.
It is to be admitted, the air pollution causes fatal diseases among children like pneumonia, asthma and bronchitis.
The UNICEF report, after witnessing Delhi case, urges countries around the world to cut back on sources which contribute to air pollution.
