In meanwhile, within reporting week Ukrainian home market dairy products’ prices remained rather low; as of this week, Ukrainian home/foreign markets’ sales were slack.

Situation on Ukrainian home/foreign dairy products’ markets didn’t improve so far (though global market was characterized with growth tendency). Within this week Ukrainian home dairy products’ market was pressed down, as earlier, by RF/Belarus domestic markets’ low prices.

Within this week Ukrainian dairy products’ output faced seasonal boost. However, hot weather can cause cows’ milk yields decline, — what might lead to dairy products’ output profitability lowering due to raw milk prices’ boost.

Within reporting week Ukrainian domestic/export markets’ SMP prices have sagged by 1–2%: thus, this week SMP domestic market prices have lowered to UAH19–24 per kg, down 2.27% against previous week (export — to US$2,200–2,750 per MT, down 1.0% as of last week).

It is to be mentioned, within this week Ukraine exported SMP to RF at US$2,600–2,750 per MT (EU countries — US$2,200–2,350 per MT). At same time, Ukrainian producers’ SMP unsold reserves were boosting up.

Within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market casein prices remained UAH61–65 per kg (same as within previous week); export market prices fluctuated within US$6,000–6,700 per MT (unchanged against last week).

As of this week, Ukrainian export market casein demand has got activated.

Within this week Ukrainian casein output faced seasonal growth; as of this week, producers’ unsold casein reserves remained high.

Within this week internal market block butter (72,5%, DSTU) prices have declined to UAH32–34 per kg (down 4.35% against previous week), foreign market — to US$3,300–3,400 per MT (down 1.47% as of last week). Within reporting week Ukrainian domestic/export markets’ demand was slackening, resulting in producers’ unsold butter reserves remaining high. It is to be admitted, within this week Ukrainian domestic/export butter markets were pressed down by New Zealand/Belarus export shipments.

Within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market cheese prices ranged within UAH47–54 per kg, export — US$5,200–5,900 per MT. It is to be admitted, within this week Ukrainian domestic/export cheese markets (as well as other Ukrainian domestic/export dairy products’ markets) were characterized with slack demand.

Within reporting week Ukrainian internal/foreign markets’ WMP demand remained low; so this week WMP prices remained unchanged as of last week: internal market — UAH34–36 per kg, foreign market — US$3,400–3,600 per MT. There were no domestic/export WMP sales within this week. At same time, producers’ unsold WMP reserves were growing up.

Within this week Ukrainian home/export markets’ whey prices continued growing: thus, domestic market demineralized whey prices have improved to UAH8,10–8,9  per kg, up 0.59% against previous week; export market prices have risen to US$810–900 per MT.

domestic market classic whey prices have improved to UAH6,8–7,7 per kg, up 1.40% against previous week, while export prices have hoisted to US$710–770 per MT, up 0.68% as of last week. It is to be admitted, Ukrainian export sales’ growth has been motivated by export market purchasers’ demand activation.

As of this year Jun 15, Ukrainian domestic market milk (fat below 2.5%) average price has grown to UAH5,73 per liter, up UAH0,01 per liter against previous week. As of this year Jun 8, milk (fat below 2.5%) average price was UAH5,72 per liter.
