Jordan lifts ban on imports of Ukrainian poultry

Jordan has lifted a temporary ban on imports of Ukrainian poultry products imposed in the middle of March over avian influenza outbreaks, NRCU says referring to the Ukrainian Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection report.
It is to be admitted, the information has been from the Ukrainian Embassy to Jordan.
As to the report, within the middle of this year Mar, Iraq, China, Qatar, Yemen and Jordan imposed a ban on supply of poultry from all territory of Ukraine.
However, at same time, Hong Kong, the EU, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) applied the regional principle. These countries banned shipments of poultry only from those Ukrainian regions where outbreaks of avian influenza were recorded.
In meanwhile, Qatar, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates lifted the ban within this year Jun and Jul.
