Within Jan-May agrarians raised rye sales up 6,6 times, to 144,505 MT

02.07.2009 12:15 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Within Jan-May 2009 agricultural companies have raised rye sales to 144,505 MT, up 6,6 times (+ 122,705 MT) against Jan-May 2008, reported State Statistics Committee.

As for Jan-May 2009 rye sales structure, companies sold 7.8% total rye to processors; 0.6% were given to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries, 0.9% - to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment.

11.6% rye were sold on markets (79.1% - through other trade channels).

As to Agro Perspective earlier report, within Jan-May 2008 agricultural companies had sold in total 21,800 MT rye.
