Agrarians Jan-May rye sales averaged UAH628,400 per MT

02.07.2009 11:14 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Within this year Jan-May all kinds property agricultural companies (except small-scale ones) were selling rye at average UAH628,400 per MT, down UAH392,200 per MT (- 38.4%) against last year Jan-May, reported State Statistics Committee.

As to Committee, companies sold rye to processors at UAH725,400 per MT (UAH536,400 – on markets; UAH629,800 – through other trade channels).

As to report, agrarians gave rye to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries at UAH688,500 per MT; rye was given to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment at UAH806,000 per MT.

As to Agro Perspective earlier report, within last year Jan-May agrarians sold rye at average UAH1,020.600 per MT.
