Cabinet/food companies signed bread, meat, milk, butter prices stabilization memorandum

As to Ministry of Economics press-service Apr 4 report, Cabinet and food producers/sellers have signed memorandum on prices stabilization for flour, bread/bakery products, macaroni products, groats, rice, beef, pork, chicken, boiled sausage, milk, fermented milk products, sunoil, butter, hen eggs and sugar. Memorandum was signed by Associations Ukroliyaprom, Union of Poultry Breeders of Ukraine, Ukrmiaso, Ukrtsukor, Ukrmolprom and Union of Dairy Companies of Ukraine. Food producers which signed memorandum were Bunge, Kernel Group, Pologhivskiy Oil Extraction Plant, Astarta-Kyiv, Dakor, Ukrros, Kompleks Agromars, Myronivskiy Khliboprodukt, Corporation Tvarynprom, Bakhmutskiy Agrarian Union, Granum and Agropromyslova Kompaniya. Retail sale network companies which concluded memorandum were National Association of Trade and Service Development, Fozzy Group, Furshet, Velyka Kyshenia, Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine, Eco-Market, O'key and Billa. On part of Cabinet, memorandum was signed by Minister of Agrarian Policy Yuriy Melnyk, Minister of Economics Bogdan Danilishyn as well as Chairmen of State Committee for Material Reserves (State Reserve) and Agrarian Fund. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, Cabinet/sugar producers had signed memorandum on establishing UAH3,200 per MT sugar maximal wholesale price (incl. VAT) until Sept 1, 2008.
