Mar inflation equaled to 3.8%

08.04.2008 13:28 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As to State Statistic Committee, Mar 2008 consumption prices have risen up 3.8% against Feb 2008.

As to Committee, Mar 2008 foods prices have grown up 5.6% as of Feb 2008 (incl. sunoil 10.6%, meat/meat products 8.9%, sugar 6.0%, bread 3.1%, bakery products 4.1%; eggs prices have lowered down 5.8% against Feb 2008).

As to report, Mar 2008 producers prices are up 6.6% against Feb 2008.

As to Agro Perspective earlier report, International Monetary Fund forecasted Ukrainian 2008 inflation will reach 20-22%. However, Cabinet tries to retain country inflation 9.6%.

As to Agro Perspective, Ukrainian Jan-Mar 2008 inflation was 9.7%.

2007 inflation was 16.6%.

2006 inflation equaled to 11.6%.
