Artemsil 8 months salt output up 28% against planned

As of this year Jan-Aug, the State-owned company Artemsil has overfulfilled its salt output plan by 1.2 million tons, up 28% against planned and up 24% as of last year similar, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.
As to the report, since ealy this year, Artemsil continued growing its salt output. Thus, just as of this year Aug, Artemsil has extracted and processed about 180,000 tons salt, up 73,000 tons (68.4%) against last year Aug.
Reportedly, as of this year Jan-Aug, Artemsil has grown unpacked (bulk) salt output to 928,200 tons (up about 33% against last year similar) - what is 75% of its this year Jan-Aug total salt output.
Besides, as of this year Jan-Aug, Artemsil has grown packaged salt output by 7.6% against last year similar ( iodized salt - by 18.1%, big-bag packaged salt - by 6.9%).
It is to be admitted, this year Artemsil has started producing a new type of product - optically sorted salt within an improved packaging. The first parties have been already shipped to the domestic market.
In addition, in order to assure the domestic motorways timely and efficient preparation for this year autumn-winter period, Artemsil has started shipping salt to the domestic motorways’ service companies.
