Ukrainian food exporters number up

The number of Ukrainian companies which received the right to export the animal origin foods has grown from 690 (as of Oct 2017) up to 836 (as of early Jul 2018), Ukrinform says referring to Borys Kobal, Head of Foods Safety And Veterinary Department of the Ukrainian State Service for Foods Safety and Consumer Protection report.
«Within the past nine months, the joint efforts of the State and business have facilitated the expansion of the geography of the domestic foods export and the number of companies which received the right to export their animal origin foods. Their number boosted from 690 as of Oct 2017 up to 836 as of early July 2018,» Kobal noted.
As to Kobal, in addition, 289 Ukrainian companies (incl. 109 poultry, fish, honey, eggs, milk and dairy producers) have a right to export their foods to the EU.
