Ukrainian sugar beet sowing almost over

As of this year May 11, Ukrainian agrarians have almost finished their sugar beet sowing,
Ukrainian National Association of Sugar Producers reports.
As to the report, sugar beet has been sown at at 275,000 ha (92% total planned areas).
Reportedly, now agrarians continue sowing spring grains/leguminous crops; as of this year May 11, agrarians have already sown spring grains/leguminous crops at 6.2 million ha or 84% total planned 7.4 million ha.
Besides, now the agrarians also continue sunflower sowing. Thus, as of this year May 11, agrarians have sown sunflower at 4.9 million ha (88%). Also, agrarians have sown soybeans at 1.2 million ha (64%).
It is to be admitted, Ukrainian winter grains (2018 crop) had been sown at total 7.3 million ha (winter rape - at 1 million ha).
