Within Open Government Week, State Food Safety Service opened its door for students

As of last week, the Ukrainian State Service for Foods Safety and Consumer Protection joined the Open Government Week (held within Ukraine under the Open Government Partnership initiative, Government Portal reports.
Thus, as of last week, within the framework of Open Government Week, the Ukrainian State Service for Foods Safety and Consumer Protection held, at the State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise, an Open Door Day for students studying the food safety and veterinary medicine. Students, teachers and managers of the Nemishaivskiy Agrotechnical College (Kyiv Region) and National University of Bio-Resources and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine were invited.
As to the report, Head of the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service Volodymyr Lapa and Acting Dierctor of the State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise Oleksandr Pischanskiy talked to the students, made them acquainted with their functions, tasks and structure of the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service and the Institute. The students were also shown the possibilities of the Institute laboratory base within a tour about the Institute research laboratory.
«I am convinced that today meeting will launch the tradition and practice of a close interaction between the Service and the student movement in order to establish a systemic cooperation within the personnel training,» Lapa stressed.
As a result of the meeting, the participants agreed that the students will be able to practice within the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service structure work.
