Groisman: 7.5 million Ukrainians used visa-free regime

As of today, while speaking within a Government meeting, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has admitted Ukrainians had taken advantage of the visa-free regime within their travel to the European Union 7.5 million times, Ukrinform reports.
«It is very important that we have the opportunity for free travel, in particular, across the EU… [The border with the EU] was crossed 7.5 million times thanks to the visa-free regime,» Groisman said.
In addition, he added, the Ukrainian side signed agreements with Turkey on the possibility of mutual trips on internal passports within the form of ID cards.
As to the earlier report, the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the European Union had entered into force as of this year Jun 11.
