Koreans to invest into Ukrainian farms

As of this week, while meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine Lee Yang-goo, Ukrainian Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Taras Kutoviy has said Korean partners are interested in investing into the Ukrainian farms, Ukrinform says referring to the Ministry press service report.
«Today we have a number of key areas for the development of the agricultural sector. The priority for us is to support small and medium size farmers. To do this, it is primarily necessary to have the technical equipment,» Minister said.
In turn, Mr. Lee Yang-goo has assured that the deepening of bilateral trade cooperation with the Ukrainian side is important for the Republic of Korea.
As to him, the Korean partners will, in part., invest into the development of organic production and infrastructure, namely the construction of terminals in Ukraine.
