Ukraine ‘has to make significant changes to its budget’ to secure IMF loan

The new International Monetary Fund credit program for Ukraine envisages significant changes to the current budget that have to be made by Feb 15, Ukrainian Finance Minister Natalka Jaresko said ahead of a government meeting on Feb 11, UNIAN reports.
«Part of [the negotiations with the IMF] are changes to the budget that we have to make. There are minor and major changes. As soon as changes to the budget are made, everything will be made public,» Jaresko told.
As to her, Ukraine expects to receive the first tranche under a new cooperation program with its key creditor - the International Monetary Fund - in this year Mar.
It is to be admitted, The IMF mission in Ukraine has been working since this year Jan 8.
