26.07.2013 12:14 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
3.1 million tourists have visited the Crimean peninsula, southern Ukraine, since the beginning of this year, what is over 2% up against the same period of the previous year, NRCU says referring to the Crimean Resorts and Tourism Ministry report.
According to First Deputy Minister Mykola Marynov, growth in the number of tourists, who arrive to the Crimea by air transport, grows annually. «The air flow grows by at least 15% annually; at the same time, the share of the railway conveyance reduces. Three years ago, this amount was 70%, whereas now it is 66%. In other words, it means that visits to Crimea become more convenient and the air travel becomes more affordable,» Marynov noted.
