25.02.2013 10:13 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Ukraine doesn’t see the effect of entrance to the European Energy Community because interests of our country are not taken into account while making a final decision. It was stated by the President in the course of TV project «Dialogue with country» within last week, President Viktor Yanukovych Press Office reports.
«When Ukraine entered the European Energy Community we expected it to be a big family with common rules… Fair relations and fair attitude,» Viktor Yanukovych said.
«At the same time, when Russia filed us a penalty for arrears of gas consumption there was no reaction from the EEC at all,» the President noted.
«Ukrainian interests are violated. Thus, there is a question: Why do we need to be in this union? We have drawn the attention of the EU to this issue. We are strongly dissatisfied with attitude of this association towards Ukraine,» the Head of State said.
