Kyrylenko also stated that the Cabinet of Ministers hopes to stabilize the situation on the grain market in April owing to issuing to regions, which are experiencing shortages of bread-grain, flour and grain. The State Committee for Material Reserves presently sells grain and flour to the regions, and in all it is going to sell not less than 200,000 tons of grain. As Ukrainian News reported previously, President Leonid Kuchma demanded of the Cabinet of Ministers and governors in the middle of March not to allow an increase in prices for bread.
