Ukraine is set for a fruitful cooperation with the IMF

This was stated by Mykola Azarov in an interview to Euronews correspondent.
"Specialists of the International Monetary Fund havenoted that the majority of the programmes are being implemented in Ukraine, all of our monetary indicators are normal Prime Minister said. All this positive that has been recently accumulated, give us grounds for an optimistic look at the possibility of continuing cooperation with the IMF. "
Prime Minister stressed that Ukraine has confirmed its credit quality, while maintaining a good growth rate.
«My previous negotiations as well as negotiations of my assistants with managers and experts from the IMF identified the main thing: we have a common understanding in this matter», Mykola Azarov said, commenting on the topic of partnership with the Fund.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Prime Minister and Head of Mission of the European Departmen of the International Monetary Fund Christopher Jarvis discussed prospects of cooperation. During the meeting the sides noted the constructive work between the IMF and Ukraine, and discussed current problems in bilateral cooperation. The Board of Directors of the Fund noted the resumption of economic growth in our country after the crisis of 20082009, reduction of inflation level and state budget deficit, but also praised the reforms in Ukraine.
