EBRD/ING Bank granted US$30 million resources purchasing credit to Ilyichivskiy Oil Extraction Plant

European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development (EBRD) and ING Bank have furnished US$30 million loan to Joint
Venture Ilyichivskiy Oil Extraction Plant (IMEP, Odessa region) for
resources (sunseeds) purchasing/ circulating capital replenishment, reported
EBRD press-service.
Credit is A/B structured; EBRD (which is to provide US$15 million credit) will be total
credit official credit granter.
Credit B will be furnished by ING Bank N. V. (with Bank ING
Ukraine to be local credit security agent/payments bank).
As earlier reported, last year EBRD had received Plant credit
application.
It is to be reminded, Ilyichivsk project total cost is US$46 million.
Ilyichivskiy Oil Extraction Plant is Companies Risoil S. A./ADM Nederland
B. V. Joint Venture.
Plant construction had been started in Apr 2003; its annual project capacity
is not less 200.000t seeds.
Risoil S. A. is owner of Ukrainian biggest vegetable oil port
transshipment terminal.
