President also obliged Cabinet to assure fulfillment of producers/exporters promise to prevent grains/sunoil wholesale prices growth and shortening of grains shipments to bakeries/flour millers until this MY end. As to President, Cabinet should as well assure fulfillment of producers/exporters similar promise on sunseeds/sunoil. President stressed that 2008 sunseeds crop stable processing became under threat due to 13 oil extraction plants having had halted. “Oil extraction industry condition and prospects are worsening each day,” declared President. Making reference to scientific estimations, President said Ukrainian agricultural producers had already lost US$1.1-1.4 milliard due to export limitations. As earlier reported, Cabinet had commissioned Ministry of Economics to examine possibility of grains export quoting abolishment. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, Ministry of Agrarian Policy had proposed either to grow sunoil export quota by 200,000 MT (up to 700,000 MT) or cancel it.
