Kyrgyzstan sugar beets’ crop expected to decline

As to the Kyrgyzstan Agriculture Minstry, as of this year, the Kyrggyzstan sugar beets’ crop is expected to decline due to the arid weather, Ukrainian National Association of Sugar Producers says referring to the Tazabek report.
As to the report, the Kyrgyzstan experts admit within this year Jan-Sept the country sugar physical output index has declined by 16.7% against last year similar.
Reportedly, this year the Kyrgyzstan sugar plants have started the sugar beets’ processing only after Sept 20. The expected this year sugar beets’ crop is to be down 81,800 tons against last year due to arid weather conditions.
