Ukraine, Poland sign agreement to implement anti-rabies program

As of last week, Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry and the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development signed an agreement on implementation of the program to combat rabies within Ukrainian territory within 2018, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.
Reportedly, from the Ukrainian side, the document was signed by First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Maxim Martynyuk, from Poland Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine Jan Piekko.
«The signing of this Agreement is not the first time and is a sequential continuation of our joint work for epizootic and epidemiological well-being of Ukraine and Poland, as well as of the countries of the European Union,» said Martynyuk.
As to him, Ukraine and Poland have been actively developing bilateral cooperation within agriculture within recent years, in particular in the areas of animal health and welfare, scientific and technical cooperation and organic production.
In his turn, Jan Piekko thanked for the long-term partnership and expressed his hope for its systematic continuation and expansion.
