Dnipropetrovsk region 2017 butter, cheese, sausage output up

As of 2017, Dnipropetrovsk region food and processing companies raised their butter, cheese, sausage, groats and meat output in total by 6% against 2016, Government Portal says referring to Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Agriculture Development Department report.
«The food and processing companies of the region have been steadily boosting the output of products within several years now. As of 2017, butter output improved by about one third, cheese by a quarter. The output of poultry meat, sausages and groats also boosted,» Vadym Udovytskiy, Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Agriculture Development Department Head, admits.
«Purchasers’ demand for food products made by Dnipropetrovsk region producers shows that the region has grown the food products’ output and export. Presently other countries buy from us much vegetable oil, poultry meat, grains and eggs,» Udovytskiy adds.
As to him, now over 100 powerful processing companies are functioning within the region.
