03.01.2017 10:14 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
As of last week, within his working trip to Donetsk region, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that his main task for the coming year is to create proper political conditions for speeding up the Ukrainian economic growth and reforms, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
«Now, from Jan 1, the minimum wage equals 3,200 hryvnias. It is much better than 1,450 hryvnias in Nov and 1,600 hryvnias in Dec. Starting from New Year, we will boost salaries of doctors and teachers. In 2017, unprecedented funds will be allocated for the construction and repair of roads. We continue decentralization and redistribution of resources for the benefit of local communities,» Poroshenko emphasized.
«We proceed from belt tightening to gradual boost of revenues of Ukrainians. There are grounds to believe that the worst in the social and economic spheres is already behind,» the President noted.
«However, it is obvious that the progress is still not enough for positive changes to be felt in full by the Ukrainian society. The government can expect higher assessment when it ensures noticeable increase of the level of life. Thus, the main task for the coming year is to create proper political conditions for speeding up the economic growth and reforms,» Poroshenko stressed.
