Poroshenko visited NIBULON plant in Mykolaiv: We must revive the river fleet

While making a working trip to the Mykolaiv region within the last week, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko visited the Ship Building and Repair Plant NIBULON, where he took part in events to resume navigation in the Southern Bug River, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the attendees launched the first boat and the newly built cargo ships.
Reportedly, the President thanked Mykolaiv residents for their patriotism, love to the native country and prevention of separatism. «It would be impossible without your patriotism,» Poroshenko said.
As to the report, the President emphasized the importance of restoring river navigation in the country. «We must restore river navigation, for it is the only way to increase export potential of Ukraine and competitiveness of Ukrainian commodities,» Poroshenko noted.
Reportedly, the Head of State stressed that the revival of Ukraine depended on the activity of such enterprises as NIBULON. «The country relies on such Ukrainians. We are restoring the economy, production and industry. It is a pleasure to be here with you today. It is another important victory, important stage in the revival of Ukrainian navigation and shipbuilding sphere,» the President said.
As to the report, Poroshenko underlined the necessity of creating favorable investment climate for national and foreign investors. «We must improve tax legislation to stimulate Ukrainians invest in the development of our production. We must do everything for the Ukrainian producers to be able to raise the workers’ salaries,» he noted.
