World Bank confirms Ukrainian 1% GDP growth in Q3

The World Bank economist in Ukraine Anastasiya Golovach confirmed on Mon that Ukrainian GDP within 2015 third quarter has grown by 1% against the previous quarter (with due regard for the seasonal factor), UNIAN reports.
«In comparison with the previous quarter and with due regard for the seasonal factor, GDP grew by about 1% in the third quarter, and our data is consistent with the information recently released by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU),» she said.
As to the earlier report, the NBU estimated that real GDP increased by 1% in the 2005 third quarter against the 2015 previous quarter.
It is to be admitted, the Ukrainian GDP decline in the second quarter of 2015 had slowed to 14.6% against last year similar, after a 17.2% drop in the first quarter of 2015.
It is to be reminded, the Cabinet had developed three economic development scenarios for 2015 with the GDP decline being between 5.5% and 11.9%.
In meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the World Bank forecast that Ukraine will see its GDP decline by 9% in 2015.
