Belarusian Development Bank, WB plan small business support program in 2016

The Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus plans to implement a joint program with the World Bank to support small and medium-sized companies in 2016, Belarus Radio says referring to the Development Bank press service report.
«To make loans cheaper the Development Bank reached a preliminary agreement with the World Bank. Next year we are planning to implement a joint program to support SMEs with the use of resources from the World Bank,» the press service admits.
As to the report, the Bank experts say that the loans in foreign currency will be affordable for small and medium-sized business.
it is to be admitted, the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus is a specialized financial institution operating as a stock corporation. The founders of the Bank are the Council of Ministers and the National Bank of Belarus. The Bank has been tasked with financing projects as part of government programs and with providing lending support to Belarusian exporters.
