Yaresko: Prime Minister set a three-month deadline for SFS leaders to put order into activity of fiscal authorities

The Ukrainian Cabinet at its extraordinary meeting on May 5 has appointed Roman Nasirov the Chairman of the State Fiscal Service, while Constantine Likarchuk and Serhii Bilan - his deputies, Government Portal reports.
«At the meeting, the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has set for the newly appointed Mr. Nasirov and his deputies a three-month deadline to introduce real changes in the SFS activities,» the Ukrainian Minister of Finance Natalia Yaresko stressed within a briefing at the Government House.
As to her, throughout this time the new SFS leadership is firstly to maintain order in the work of the fiscal authorities and reduce corruption. In addition, they have a task to change the whole SFS management vertical in the regions and districts, thus ensuring filling these posts by new and honest staff members capable to break corruption schemes. Besides, the issues for them to be addressed as a matter of priority also include an increase in tax revenue due to de-shadowing of the economy and the fight against tax pits, as well as increased revenues from the customs at the expense of the fight against smuggling.
«These are the changes that should be very quickly felt by each citizen, each enterprise in the country,» Yaresko said.
