31.12.2014 16:29 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
The Ukrainian Cabinet has revoked a number of Government resolutions which determined the list of energy-saving materials, equipment and components exempted from import duty, NRCU reports referring to the
Government decree No. 719 dated December 29.
In particular, the Cabinet has cancelled the decision of Yulia Tymoshenko’s Government dated May 14, 2008, which approved the initial list of energy-saving materials and equipment, and several decisions that amended the list. The original list exempted the following equipment from import duty: pickling units, a hydrochloric acid regeneration plant, two turbo generators, combined cycle power plants, furnaces for melting glass, as well as 152 wind turbines with a capacity of 2 MW and higher.
It is to be admitted, additions to the list were added by Aresniy Yatseniuk’s Government in July 2014, including two boilers for biofuel power plants, a cooling tower, and a 12 MW steam turbine.
