President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with newly appointed permanent representative of the Head of State in the Cabinet of Ministers Oleksandr Danyliuk, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
At the meeting, Petro Poroshenko emphasized that cooperation between the President and the Government had a top-priority importance for the implementation of reforms in the country. «All reforms initiated today by the Presidential Administration in close cooperation with the public and government officials must be qualitatively elaborated and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for adoption,» the Head of State stressed.
The President drew attention to the importance of restoring trust of society in the implementation of reforms. According to him, earlier, reforms were used as political technologies for the deception of people. «We need to move forward today. This is what the majority of Ukrainians and the countries in the world are expecting,» Petro Poroshenko said.
«Today, we need achievements in the anti-corruption policy, resolute changes in holding economic reforms and provision of qualitatively elaborated and coordinated judiciary reform that would ensure the rule of law. I think that the reform of law enforcement bodies is extremely important,» the Head of State noted.
As to him, the implementation of reforms in Ukraine must be synchronized with the implementation of the Association Agreement. «The Association Agreement lays out the basic concept of reforms. We only need to complete this concept and harmonize it with the Ukrainian legislation,» Petro Poroshenko claimed.
The President emphasized that hostilities in the country cannot justify the absence of reforms. According to him, Ukraine now has a great support of the world financial organizations that are ready to provide credit aid to our country.
Oleksandr Danyliuk expressed gratitude to the President for his trust and noted that close coordination of actions and cooperation between governmental bodies was essential for the implementation of reforms in the country.
Oleksandr Danyliuk has chaired the Coordination center on the implementation of economic reforms since September 2010. He has won the contest for this office.
