Yatseniuk: Agreement with EU is intended to upgrade Ukraine's economy

"The Government will promote the national capital and the domestic manufacturer with all possible means and tools through a political and economic dialog targeting to increase volumes of exported Ukrainian origin goods, diversify markets, create workplaces and improve quality and competitiveness of Ukrainian commodities," Government Portal quoting the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk as saying during a session of the Government on Wednesday, June 25.
This week the President of Ukraine is due to sign the second section of the Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union on a deep and overall free trade area, Arseniy Yatseniuk noted: «The political clauses of the Agreement were signed two months ago and it confirmed invariability of Ukrainian course towards European integration».
«No doubt, the Agreement is planned to upgrade Ukraine’s economy,» the Head of the Government said.
As to him, the task of today is to ensure competitiveness and quality of the Ukrainian goods, their access to European and other markets and creating of workplaces in Ukraine.
Arseniy Yatseniuk called these priorities realistic ones: «Old traditions when the Government writes programs consisting of dozens hundreds pages ended as usual nothing was executed. So I demand from the Government concrete and clear goals and achievement of these goals».
