Ukraine and Estonia ink action plan on enhanced cooperation in agrarian sector

Today, June 4, in the framework of the XXV² International agroindustrial exhibition AGRO-2014 the Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Ihor Shvaika met with Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Estonia Ivari Padar, Government Portal reports.
The interlocutors discussed exchange of experience in modernization of enterprises in compliance with the EU requirements as well as food industry, livestock breeding, fisheries and information technologies.
Ihor Shvaika emphasized Ukraine is interested in extending of agricultural products delivery, namely: grain, meat products, sunflower oil, confectionery and dairy products. The import exceptionally included fishes, crustaceans, mollusks, ready or tinned products from fish and crustaceans. «We don’t distinct the countries between the categories: large or small, more of less important partners. The experience of Ukraine-Estonia cooperation proved a desire to work and responsible attitude to partnership-like relations appears principal,» the Minister stressed.
At the end of the meeting the Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Ihor Shvaika and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Estonia Ivari Padar signed action plan for enhancement of cooperation between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Nutrition of Ukraine and Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Estonia for 20142016.
