"The Government doesn’t need other dividends than to have an honor to break the deadlock in the difficult geopolitical situation the country found itself through a fault of Yanukovych and Putin", Government Portal reports quoting the Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Olexandr Sych.
The Vice Prime Minister urged journalists to show realism while evaluating actions of the Government directed to settlement of political and social-economic challenges. «We cannot and don’t have a right to promise everything and immediately. The majority of problems the executive authorities are facing appear of conceptual nature. To solve them not only rationality and sanity are needed, but elementary funds the Treasury is lacking nowadays,» the government official said. .
At the same time, Olexandr Sych assured, the Government was paying titanic efforts in order to stir up liquidation of corruption schemes in country administration area and to ensure social payments in full. «The executive authorities are shortening radically the expenses directed to maintenance of the state apparatus, refusing from traditional privileges which are called to ensure timely fulfillment of social liabilities to the citizens. In the urgent circumstances the humanitarian challenges are not decreasing, but increasing even during military operations schoolchildren must receive fundamental education as well as patients must receive high quality health services,» Olexandr Sych stressed.
As to the Vice Prime Minister, search of relevant and well-weighed decisions that are capable to afford to lay the basis for the conceptual changes in the humanitarian area needs large efforts from the Government team. «Only structure reforms could break the deadlock. Respectively, restoring of the real sovereignty of Ukraine over Crimea will depend not only on reinforcement of our defense capability, but on the new quality of humanitarian policy and social standards as well,» the top official summed up.
