Ukraine's First Vice-Premier Arbuzov: Kyiv remains committed to European integration course

Ukraines First Vice-Premier Serhiy Arbuzov said at the business forum in Vilnius that Kyiv remained committed to its European integration course.
«There has been no turnaround. Ukraine needs Europe and the European course. We have done a lot to be here and I am sure of our missions successful work. Our determination is obvious. We will find approaches and a mutually acceptable model so that the summit results in a balanced decision,» Arbuzov said. He said that on Friday the Ukrainian President would offer Ukraines option for minimizing economic risks posed by the prospect free trade agreement with the EU. According to him, Ukraine has provided European commissioners with its calculations regarding the financing Ukraine needs to compensate for the economic risks it faces. «There will be a summit tomorrow, and a decision will be made. I am sure it will be positive. But its wording will depend on todays talks,» he said.
