Ukrainian chickens to be additionally checked for supplies to Kazakhstan

The State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine will conduct additional checks of Ukrainian enterprises - producers of poultry meat. It will be a prerequisite for the resumption of Ukrainian poultry supplies to Kazakhstan, ForUm says referring to the press service of the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry report.
As to report, the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine suspended exports of products of JSC «Myronivska Poultry» to Kazakhstan. An investigation will be conducted to establish the circumstances.
«Additional testing will be carried out in connection with the fact that during transportation or customs clearance, the integrity of the packaging or temperature conditions were most likely to be violated during transportation through the territory of Kazakhstan,» Ministry notes.
As pointed out, all products exported by Ukrainian poultry farms are subject to strict veterinary and phytosanitary control in Ukraine.
In particular, the appropriate, certified labs tested batches of poultry, which were supplied to Kazakhstan, the report says.
