Regions purchased 2005 grain 1.7 million tons

As of Oct 5, Regional State Administrations have acquired 1.7 million tons this year crop grain for regional resources creation, reported Ministry of Agrarian Policy press-service.
As to report, regions have acquired 113.4% planned total grain; regions have paid only for 68.6% (1.166.400t) purchased grain.
Reportedly, as of Sept 30, regions had purchased 2005 crop grain 1.68 million tons.
Cabinet plans to purchase in total 5.5 million tons new crop grain, with 1 million tons to be bought through State Reserve, 2 million tons through Bread of Ukraine and 1 million tons through Agrarian Fund (at mortgage prices).
Government expects regions will purchase 1.5 million tons grain for their own needs.
Ministry of Agrarian Policy forecasts this year grain crop will reach 39 million tons.
2004 grain crop totaled 41.8 million tons.
