Harvesting campaign 2019: agrarians got 34.24 million tons maize

As to the Ukrainian regions’ operative data, as of this year Nov 27, Ukrainian agrarians have harvested 34.243 tons maize, up against last year similar 33.028 million tons, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Foods reports.
It is to be admitted, the agrarians have harvested maize at 4.823 million ha, average yield — 71 metric centners per ha (down against last year similar 76.5 metric centners per ha).
It is to be admitted, this year agrarians are going to harvest maize at total 4.970 million ha.
In meanwhile, as of 2019, the Ukrainian agrarians have widened maize sown areas to 4.973.9 million ha, up 8.6% against 2018.
It is to be admitted, maize shares 17.86% of the Ukrainian total grains’ sown areas.
As of 2018, the Ukrainian maize crop hit the record high 35.8 million tons (at 4.564.2 million ha).
