Foreign investors are expanding their business in Ukraine
29.01.2013 10:12 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Enterprises with foreign investment are expanding their activities in Ukraine. According to the experts of the Ministry of income and fees for two years, from 2011 to 2012 inclusive, the total volume of products sold by such enterprises was increased by 4% from 838.6 bln. UAH to 870.3 bln.UAH, and exports by 22% (from 159.4 bln.UAH to 205.3 bln.UAH), Mykola Azarov Official Website reports.
Payment of taxes by companies with foreign investments into the consolidated budget was increased from 50 billion UAH in 2011 to 54.2 billion UAH last year.
For its part, Ukraine is systematically and purposefully working to create a favourable investment climate and equal competitive environment for both Ukrainian and foreign companies.
In particular, the VAT refund to foreign investors in 2012 amounted to 19 billion UAH, which is by 28% more than in 2011 (14.8 billion UAH). In this case, 55% of the volume of refund on settlement accounts, or 8.1 billion UAH were returned automatically.
The number of planned documentary inspections of enterprises with foreign investments is steadily declining: from 2010 it declined by almost 2.5 times.
The activities of tax and customs services was and is aimed at the introduction of legislative and organizational innovations to create comfortable conditions for doing business in Ukraine. In particular, the tax authorities have recently introduced a new service for enterprises with foreign investment providing legal assessment of investment projects for the presence of tax risks. Thus, employees of tax authorities will help to avoid high-risk situations due to incorrect interpretation of the national legislation by foreign entrepreneurs.
