President Viktor Yanukovych has said that he will nominate a candidate for the post of Ukraine’s prime minister by Sunday, NRCU reports.

Commenting on the ongoing work at amendments to the Constitution, the President said that it should involve as many experts, politicians, and public leaders as possible. «The opposition should take an active and constructive part in the constitutional process as well. We want to reach the broadest possible political consensus. We set up the Constitutional Assembly for effective work on amendments to the Organic Law. It is composed of the best Ukrainian and international legal experts and public leaders,» Yanukovych told the newly appointed ambassadors.
