The terminal will be capable of receiving such an amount of gas needed for us to be an independent player on the energy market," the head of government said. The estimated capacity of the terminal is 10 billion cubic meters a year. The terminal will be built in two phases in two phases. At the first stage a projected launch is planned in 2016 a floating plant with an annual capacity of 5 billion cubic meters of gas will be involved. At the second stage a ground terminal with a capacity of 10 billion cubic meters will be built scheduled to be launched in 2018.
