The Third International Black Sea Economic Forum starts in Yalta today

On October 4, the Third International Black Sea Economic Forum starts in the Livadia Palace (Yalta), Government Portal reports.
This year the forum will be attended by First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovsky, Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Sergiy Tigipko, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov, Minister Energy and Coal industry of Ukraine YuriyBoyko, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk. Crimea at the forum will be presented by Chairman of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anatoliy Mogilev.
The Forum is expected to participate also the Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Ian Tombinski, the Secretary General of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Viktor Tvirkun, the Director on macro-analysis of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa Rachel Zimby, the Former Chairman and CEO of the Institute for Strategy Blue Ocean East Europe and Central Asia to Ukraine PavelSheremet.
A common theme of the Third International Black Sea Economic Forum will be «Enhancing competitiveness of Black Sea region: coordination of actions and joint projects.»
The Forum participants will discuss the strategic location of the Black Sea basin, priority areas and opportunities for joint projects as well as issues of energy efficiency, transportation industry and export-import procedures. In addition, it is planned to discuss the methods of investments attraction in the agricultural sector, increase in the attractiveness and competitiveness of the tourism sector, etc.
