Zubkov: Russia to export 27 mln tons of grain in 2012

08.02.2012 10:16 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — This year Russia will export 27 million tons of grain, becoming the world’s third largest grain exporter after the United States and Australia, First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov said on Tuesday. Zubkov, who was in Armenia on a working visit, said that 94 million tons of grain had been harvested last year. Significant progress has been made in other farming sectors, including cattle-breeding where many investment projects are currently under way, the vice premier said. Source: ITAR-TASS.
