Continuous air photography of territory of Ukraine has been completed
30.09.2011 08:17 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Continuous air photography of the territory of Ukraine is completed. Thus, our country for the first time had received a cartographical basis for conducting the State agrarian cadastre and executed one of key requirements of EU. Director of the Project of Worldwide bank «Issuance of the state certificates on the property right for the land and development of cadastre system» Sergiy Kubah informed about it participants of conference of the CIS countries and Baltic «System of the state registration of the rights and the cadastral inventory: creation, progress and perfection» which passes in Moscow.
In general it is finished shooting about 600 thousand square kilometers. The volume of the electronic version of the received material exceeds 70 terabyte. Operational systems, system of protection of data, as well as techniques for storage and works on such volumes of the information are developed and bought with support of the loan within the limits of the mentioned project. The most precise maps of the Ukrainian lands for last 30 years have been created. «Ukraine for the first time has had an opportunity to conduct full inventory of lands. It is a basis for their inventory, carrying out of zoning, an establishment of borders of settlements. This information already are in demand for other branches like a water industry, a forestry, ecologists», Sergiy Kubah noted.
Having carried out air photography of territory of the state, Ukraine has executed one of requirements of EU, without which application for integration into the European Union could not be considered; in fact it is an issue on creation of a cartographical basis for conducting a cadastre as Geographic information system. And this cartographical basis is maybe executed only on the basis of materials of air photography.
Shooting is carried out in scale 1:25000. Creation of orthophotomaps of settlements (these materials are carried out in scale 1:2000), orthophotomaps in scale 1:10000 and index cadastral cards comes now to the end.
