As of 2009, agrarians sold vegetables at average UAH1,790 per MT

05.03.2010 10:30 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — In 2009 all kinds property agricultural companies (except small-scale ones) were selling vegetables at average UAH1,790 per MT, down UAH270 per MT (- 13%) against 2008, reported State Statistics Committee. As to Committee, companies sold vegetables to processors at UAH699,2 per MT (UAH2,613 — on markets; UAH2,401 — through other trade channels). As to report, agrarians gave vegetables to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries at UAH1,357 per MT; vegetables were given to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment at UAH1,028 per MT. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, in 2008 agrarians sold vegetables at UAH2,060 per MT (up against UAH1,995 per MT in 2007).
