As of Jan-Oct, agrarians sold 4.848 mn MT maize

10.12.2009 13:18 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Within Jan-Oct 2009 agricultural companies have sold 4.848 mn MT maize, reported State Statistics Committee.

As for Jan-Oct 2009 maize sales structure, agrarians have sold 5.7% total maize to processors.

Agrarians have given 0.4% maize to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries and 1.1% − to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment.

Besides, 3.6% maize were sold on markets (89.2% - through other trade channels).

As to Agro Perspective earlier report, within Jan-Sept 2009 agricultural companies had sold 3,714.236 MT maize.
