Within Jan-Oct agrarians boosted rye sales up 43.1%, to 384,224 MT

01.12.2009 16:15 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Within Jan-Oct 2009 agricultural companies have raised rye sales to 384,224 MT, up 115,727 MT (+ 43.1%) against Jan-Oct 2008, reported State Statistics Committee.

As for Jan-Oct 2009 rye sales structure, companies sold 8.8% total rye to processors; 0.9% were given to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries, 1.8% - to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment.

10.4% rye were sold on markets (78.1% - through other trade channels).

As to report, in Jan-Oct 2008 agrarians sold 268,497 MT rye.

As to Agro Perspective earlier report, within Jan-Sept 2009 agricultural companies had surged rye sales to 328,502 MT, up 110,700 MT (+ 50.8%) against Jan-Sept 2008, reported State Statistics Committee.
