Agrarian Fund purchased 2008 crop 100,000 MT grains

Agrarian Fund has bought this year crop 100,600 MT grains (incl. 92,400 MT wheat/8,300 MT rye), reported Volodymyr Ivanishyn, Agrarian Fund Director.
As to Ivanishyn, Fund has also made contracts for spot prices 100,100 MT/forward prices 72,000 MT grains purchases.
Ivanishyn said this year Fund, due to having enough financial means, will be able to purchase necessary grains amount stipulated by Ukrainian legislation.
It is to be reminded, this year Fund must buy 803,000 food wheat/73,000 MT food rye to State Food Reserve (14% total country food grains annual consumption).
