Agrarians harvested 2008 crop 23 mn MT wheat

12.08.2008 14:52 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of Aug 8, 2008 agrarians have harvested this year crop 23.081 mn MT wheat, reported Ministry of Agrarian Policy press-service. It is to be reminded, last year wheat crop totaled 13.937 mn MT; wheat was harvested at 6.3 mn ha. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, this year agrarians had harvested 33.631 mn MT grains. As to experts forecasts, this year grains crop can reach 40 mn MT. 2007 grains crop totaled 29.3 mn MT.
