Cargill to invest US$80 mn into Vinnytsia region oil extraction plant construction until 2010

20.11.2007 09:54 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As to Vladyslav Utkin, Gaisyn District (Vinnytsia region) State Administration Chief, company Cargill is going to invest US$80 mn into city Gaisyn (Vinnytsia region) oil extraction plant construction till end 2009.

As to Utkin, new plant annual processing capacity will total 300,000 vegetable oils seeds, thus enabling Cargill to cover its products market demand.

“We have already signed intentions protocol; as of now, Cargill prepares all project documentation for reconciliation,” declared District State Administration Chief.

Reportedly, Cargill has already invested  US$20 mn into seeds hulling warmth boilers installation on its Donetsk and Kakhovka (Kherson region) oil extraction plants.

As of now, Cargill owns 2 Ukrainian sunseeds processing plants (in Donetsk and Kakhovka).

Company Cargill functions in Ukraine since 1991. Company has representative office in Kyiv; company cooperates with agricultural producers in resources shipments sphere/agricultural

production finances provision.

Cargill is international supplier of foods, agricultural products/services as well as risk management services.
