8 regions Mar cheese prices up 0.6-6.7%, to UAH12,09-17,2 per kg

Mar retail sale network cheeses prices have grown to UAH12,0917,2 per kg (up 0.66.7%) in 8 regions shops and simultaneously dropped to UAH15,2220,74 per kg (down 0.35%) in 6 regions shops against Feb, reported Ministry of Economics representative.
As to representative, Mar retail sale network cheeses maximal (UAH20,74 per kg) and minimal (UAH11,2 per kg) prices have been registered correspondingly in Chernivtsi region and Zakarpatska region shops; as of monitoring date, cheeses were missing in 6 regions (Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kirovograd, Lugansk, Poltava and Chernighiv) shops.
As to Ministry of Economics, within Mar cheeses prices have climbed to UAH8,613,19 per kg (up 0.35.8% against Feb) on 10 regions markets and at same time lowered to UAH8,3215,0 per kg (down 0.215% as of Feb) on 12 regions markets, with highest (UAH15,0 per kg) and lowest (UAH7,0 per kg) prices having been registered correspondingly on c. Sevastopol and Chernivtsi region markets.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, this Feb retail sale network cheeses prices had lifted to UAH11,217,89 per kg (up 0.313.4%) in 18 regions shops and simultaneously dipped to UAH21,71 per kg (down 7.7%) in shops of Chernivtsi region against this Jan.
As to Agro Perspective, this Feb cheeses prices had hiked to UAH7,015,8 per kg (up 1.229.5% against this Jan) on 23 regions markets and at same time lowered to UAH11,2513,33 per kg (down 47.3% as of this Jan) on 2 regions markets.
Early 2006 experts had forecasted Ukrainian cheeses output 8,00010,000 MT monthly shortening due to RF authorities having had imposed ban on Ukrainian animal (incl. dairy) products import.
